Pub Operas production serves up stories from Glasgow’s famous pub in the Ernest Balmer Studio in the Historic Distillery District.  Be there to witness a bitter-sweet engagement, an after-hours wake, and the inn manager’s unrequited love affair with Frederic Chopin.

The Tapestry Songbook January 28, 2012
This concert will showcase bravura arias from the extensive library of Tapestry produced operas, performed by artists from the Tapestry New Work Studio Company and participants from Tapestry’s New Opera 101 Master Class/Workshop. Soprano Xin Wang, countertenor Scott Belluze and pianists James Bourne and Sandra Mogenson  join us as both performers and master class clinicians.

New Opera Showcase March 25, 2012
An evening of opera excerpts from four new works at various stages in their development at Tapestry.  In this showcase, expect to experience the creative spirit at its hottest and most challenging.
